Your Sociability skill level goes up automatically whenever you talk to an NPC.
It’s an ‘Auto Effect’ skill, which is unlike the skills you must register with a shortcut key to use.
You can change your job by talking to the Craft Master with a ‘Job Change Permit’.

There are several skills related to production.
Currently there are recipe, casting, sewing, crafts, and shipbuilding skills. After learning these skills, you can purchase a recipe (a type of secret book) suitable for your rank and start producing the items you want.
<How to use production skills>
1. Have your choice of production skill, recipe, and material ready.
2. Check to see if your character has enough Vigor points.
3. Click the [Use Item]->[Recipe]->[Ok] buttons to check the list of items you can produce.
4. Choose the item you want to produce in the list, click the ‘Ok’ button to open the Production window, and then click the ‘Produce’ button to start producing the item.
When you buy trade goods, you can buy in a bundle to cut down the price. You can also use merchant skills such as Price Haggling to bargain the price, and the market price of trade goods can keep on changing according to the game system.
In Uncharted Waters Online, there is a market in each of the cities where you can trade items. The market price differs according to the town and items with distinct cultural characteristics are recognized as ‘Specialty Goods’ in other cultural areas and sold at higher prices. Also, there are some people with production skills who process the items they have purchased at the market to sell them at higher prices for a profit.
People compete with each other to buy more items since there are a limited number of items in the market in a city, so items are sold and purchased at higher prices than those sold by the Market Master NPC.
If you’re new to Uncharted Waters Online, pay close attention to popular items so you can use the information to save some money and establish a footing.
You can’t buy more trade goods because each city has a limit much you can buy. Once you have purchased the maximum amount, you must sail for a certain period of time or go to another port and then come back to the same city before purchasing more.
You may also be unable to buy more trade goods if you have reached your maximum cargo capacity or exceeded 15 types of personal trade goods, so check these as well.
Your item durability decreases while you’re sailing or fighting a battle. When the durability reaches zero, the item will be destroyed and disappear from your inventory.
You can only store up to 100 million ducats in your inventory. So when you’re trading with a player and the transaction amount exceeds 100 million ducats, the transaction will be cancelled. But if you’re selling items at a personal store, the items will be sold but you won’t receive any money if you have more than 100 million ducats on you. Please keep in mind that you can’t receive more than 100 million ducats from the Company Secretary at the Company Office after selling an item. You can deposit up to 1 billion ducats in the bank.
You can invest up to 100 billion ducats.
You can have up to 100 million ducats in your possession. Any transaction with another player will be cancelled it will result in exceeding 100 million ducats.
However, personal store sales amounting to over 100 million ducats won’t be deposited to your inventory, and please keep in mind that you won’t be able to receive money from sales at the company store.
You can deposit more than 100 million ducats in the bank, so make sure to deposit your money in the bank in advance and avoid losing your money!
